Delawness Versace On The Floor.jpg

It was Wednesday, November 17 2016, when 15x Grammy® Winner Bruno Mars released his third Studio Album 24K Magic (stylized as XXIVK Magic).  In all, 24K Magic, yielded a total perfect six-for-six in GRAMMY nominations and wins, including Album Of The Year, Best R&B Album for the album, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for "That's What I Like" and Record Of The Year for "24K Magic."   In my studio I sit and listen track after track basking in pure musical art. Immediately Versace On The Floor came on and I felt something different, feeling inspired I began to draw, caressing paper with graphite. As passion flow thru me onto the paper. The lines flow into each other, fuel by the heavy baseline which was  smooth spelling expensive, luxury, sex.  The song painted a picture of a lady clad in Versace with a glass of red wine in the mood for desirous passionate sex across the room strip teasing on the floor. The energy of the music was everything I had no other choice but to draw from the impulsive feeling within.

Versace On The Floor Illustration was released that same weekend for free  download. Catching the momentum of the album promote it relentlessly across social media. The piece recieved over 500 digital copies being downloaded.
